Valentine’s Afternoon Bash: Come By For a Splash- Open House
It’s been just over a week since our very first “Valentine’s Afternoon Bash: Come By For a Splash- Open House” and I’m just in awe! It really was a great way to celebrate the start to a new Miss Yvonne Swim School (MYSS) Camp season. The team that we have at MYSS works so hard to put together our day to day camp day and they outdo themselves year after year. Thank you all for coming in with a smile and making children love to learn because of your love for teaching! I can’t wait to dive into another season with each and every one of you!
The children had such a great time hanging out for Valentine’s Day! The children swam with our Teacher Counselors and burned off some February cabin fever. Next, the children made a Valentine’s Day craft. The science project created a chemical reaction that caused out balloon to fill up. We finished up out afternoon with some pizza and cookie. Throughout the event, the families took a tour and explored all the different areas that we use at our campgrounds.
Thank you to all the parents and families who came out, whether you’ve worked with us before or it’s your first time. We hope that you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. We overhead a few comments such as, “You all really like each other and work well together” and “I feel like you all work like a team like the staff at my child’s daycare”. It fills me heart to overhear this because we absolutely do love each other and make sure that we have a blast together. It does not feel like work and most of the time we are working together is on our ‘off’ time from our school day-jobs. If we are having a great time, then the campers will be having a great time as well. I’m delighted we are able to show the chemistry of joy we have working together. We know that you have many choices when chooses a swim program and summer camp. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to show you what we are all about.
My own parents support this business as if it were a grandbaby. They are the reason why Miss Yvonne Swim School exists and without them there would be no Miss Yvonne! Thanks for running to ShopRite at 9am to pick up the awesome cake. And special thanks ShopRite and Facebook’s Hoboken Mommies for the bakery recommendation!
